Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Noshlee app and website, operated by Wake Tech LLC ("Noshlee", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Noshlee, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Important health and safety notice. Noshlee provides information to help you find gluten-free options. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional judgment or the guidance of your healthcare provider. Gluten assessments — including barcode analysis, menu scans, and community reviews — can be incomplete or wrong. Ingredients, recipes, suppliers, and kitchen practices change, and cross-contamination can occur even where food is labeled gluten-free. Always verify directly with the restaurant or manufacturer before eating, especially if you have celiac disease or a serious allergy. You are responsible for your own food choices, and you use Noshlee at your own risk.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Reviews and other content you submit

Noshlee lets you submit ratings, reviews, meal notes, and other content. You keep ownership of what you write, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and share it within the app so it can be shown to other users.

When you post content, you agree that it:

is truthful and reflects your own genuine experience;
is not abusive, hateful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or threatening;
is not spam, advertising, or off-topic; and
does not infringe anyone else's rights or violate any law.

Reviews are screened by automated moderation before publishing, and we may remove, refuse, or edit any content at our discretion. Moderation is not perfect, and we do not endorse or guarantee user content — treat community reviews as opinions, not facts.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Noshlee — including by attempting to break, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service, or by using it to harm others.

Third-party data

Noshlee relies on data from third parties such as Google Places and Open Food Facts, and on AI analysis. This information is provided "as is" and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. We are not responsible for third-party content or services.

Intellectual property

The Noshlee name, app, design, and original content are owned by Wake Tech LLC and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our branding except to use the app as intended.

Disclaimer of warranties

Noshlee is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty that gluten assessments are accurate or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wake Tech LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any harm arising from your reliance on information in the app or from food you consumed. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the prior twelve months.

Termination

You may stop using Noshlee and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service or its users.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Wake Tech LLC is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
